The project HABOM, including a joint venture engine facility with Pratt&Whitney, the global leading aircraft engine manufacturer company, is one of the major investments of Turkish Airlines and aims to be ranked among the leading aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul service centers of the world.

  • 20 hectares of construction area
  • 364.000 m² total hangar area
  • Hangars include facilities for the maintenance of landing gear, avionics, cabin and other aircraft components besides total MRO operations
  • Two hangars can handle 11 narrow and 3 wide body aircrafts simultaneously
Panolux for the mega doors of the project

Extremely safe wide-span doors covering the whole front facade of the hangars, where the first aircraft was admitted on March 8 2013, are constructed with Panolux GRP panels.
